Ready-to-launch Minecraft server
DeceasedCraft sends you into a big city after the collapse: skyscrapers, hospitals and apartment blocks full of zombies, plus firearms, vehicles and a tech tree. With us, the pack runs as a paid server with 8 GB RAM.

DeceasedCraft runs on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge; we download the server pack directly from the developers' CurseForge project. Before we released it in the catalog, it had to be installed, started and joined three times in a row without intervention. That succeeded on August 13, 2026; the three runs took between 900 and 2,443 seconds.
A first test in July had failed even though the server was running: after the restart at the end of the installation, it was unreachable from outside for a while. The investigation found no fault in the pack, but a temporary network error after the restart. Since then, our nightly test series also checks whether a server survives a restart.
The startup takes just over two minutes: On our test server on October 6, 2026, with DeceasedCraft 5.10.17 and Forge 47.4.0, three starts each took 128 to 130 seconds until the "Done" message. The mod folder contained 235 files, and the fresh server used just over 900 MB on disk.
In gameplay, you switch between base and city. Apartments, shops and clinics supply materials, cars can be repaired, and weapons get new attachments. The tech tree decides when makeshift solutions turn into proper tools and defenses.

On October 6, 2026, we measured DeceasedCraft on our own test server. With no players, the server used 3.3 GiB of 8 GB five minutes after a restart and 3.5 GiB after half an hour of idling; one processor core was about ten percent busy. That is an idle value without players. The cities consist of large, densely built structures in which many creatures roam at the same time. If you venture deep into the city with several people, keep an eye on the memory display in the panel and move up one tier if needed.
Three consecutive full test runs on August 13, 2026, without manual intervention.
The server pack comes directly from the CurseForge project so that Forge and mods match the client pack of the same version.
Cars can be made drivable again, and weapons accept various attachments.
Even with no players, the test server used 3.3 GiB. For cities full of creatures and vehicles, the free 2 GB server is not enough.
A successful installation, startup or join test applies only to the tested version and does not demonstrate stable operation under every player load.

Yes. The wizard preselects the matching loader; modpack pages also load only the verified featured pack.
Yes. Always check compatibility and create a backup before changing versions.
No. DeceasedCraft used 3.3 GiB on our test server even with no players and starts with 8 GB with us; it therefore only runs on a paid server. The free plan with 2 GB is intended for Vanilla and small mod collections. What the RAM tier costs is shown by the configurator before you pay.
Both are zombie packs on Forge 1.20.1. DeceasedCraft is set in a modern big city and relies on a tech tree, vehicles and weapon crafting. Cursed Walking does without this tech tree and puts survival against hordes front and center.
Minecraft Java Edition and DeceasedCraft in the same version as the server, for example via the CurseForge app. If a mod is missing, the server rejects the login. Players on console or mobile cannot join.
Our three release runs in August took between 15 and 41 minutes from setup to a verified join. On October 6, 2026, a test run with download, installation, startup and connection check was done after just over 10 minutes; the world itself loaded in just over two minutes each time.
