Tested technical baseline
All the Mods 10 is available as a launchable server configuration with neoforge on Minecraft 1.21.1.
Ready-to-launch Minecraft server
All the Mods 10 bundles tech, magic, colonies and dimensions into a single pack, and that is exactly why the server needs so much memory. We set up ATM10 with 10 GB RAM on the paid plan; it is many times too big for the free mcfreehost server.

In our check on September 25, 2026, the order process installed All the Mods 10 version 8.2 on Minecraft Java 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.251 and Java 21. Afterwards there were 464 files in the mod folder, and the fresh server used about 1.7 GB of disk space. The pack version may change because we load the developers' current server pack each time; new versions regularly go through an automatic installation test on our side.
Expect some waiting time when booting up: on the test server, the first start after installation took 216 seconds, and a later restart took 182 seconds until the console reported "Done". This is due to the number of mods NeoForge loads at startup, not to your server. So schedule restarts for when nobody is playing.
Don't be surprised by the RAM display in the panel. ATM10 starts Java with the AlwaysPreTouch option, which immediately occupies the reserved memory. Five minutes after a restart, our test server without players showed about 8.5 GiB, even though Java actually used only about 2.5 GiB of that. A high value right after startup is therefore normal and not a memory leak.
For groups, it's worth a look at config/ftbchunks-world.snbt: each team may claim up to 500 chunks and keep 25 of them permanently loaded. These permanently loaded chunks are the biggest lever for server load, because machines in them keep running even without players. PvP is allowed in claimed areas; with pvp_mode "never" or "per_team" you can change that.

In three runs from September 24 to 26, 2026, we observed ATM10 under artificial load with 200 cows on a pre-generated world. Memory usage reached 8,005 to 8,707 MB, the tick duration at the 95th percentile stayed between 12.2 and 13.6 milliseconds, and the TPS never dropped below 20. This was a short measurement without real players: it shows that 10 GB leave headroom, but not how many friends can play at the same time.
Version 8.2 of the pack on Minecraft 1.21.1, installed with 464 mod files and started on September 25, 2026.
The pack ships with its own limits of -Xms4G and -Xmx8G. Since September 25, our installation removes them so that Java can use the full 10 GB.
Measured 182 seconds until "Done". A fresh order also needs a few minutes until all mods are loaded.
Even without players, ATM10 uses many times the 2 GB of the free server and therefore only runs on a paid server.
A successful installation, startup or join test applies only to the tested version and does not demonstrate stable operation under every player load.

Yes. The wizard preselects the matching loader; modpack pages also load only the verified featured pack.
Yes. Always check compatibility and create a backup before changing versions.
No. Even when idle, it uses over 8 GiB on our setup, while the free server has 2 GB. For ATM10 you need a paid server with 10 GB; the configurator shows you the monthly price before you pay.
Everyone needs Minecraft Java Edition and All the Mods 10 in the version running on the server, most easily via the CurseForge app. Then they add the address from your panel as a server. Console and mobile players cannot join, because Bedrock does not load NeoForge mods.
The included config/ftbessentials.snbt allows each player one home with a 10-second cooldown. /rtp teleports up to 25,000 blocks away, at most every ten minutes and not in the End; the command does not take claimed areas into account. You enter your own defaults for new worlds in defaultconfigs/ftbessentials-server.snbt.
We only measured without real players. Many permanently loaded factories and several dimensions visited at the same time increase the requirements. If it gets tight, you choose a larger RAM tier in the panel; the pack stays installed.
