Why rent a Minecraft server from us?

Budget prices

The monthly price depends on your configuration. 2 GB RAM from €0.00 per month; the recommended 2 GB option costs €0.00 per month. See the complete price and available term discounts in the configurator before ordering.

All server types included

Vanilla, Paper, Spigot, Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, Bedrock, BungeeCord, Velocity - all variants are available at no extra cost and switchable at any time.

Optimized performance

Native Bedrock servers do not use Java or JVM flags. BDS or PocketMine is provisioned for the selected variant; NVMe SSDs support fast loading.

Flexible & transparent

Monthly subscription with no minimum term. Scale RAM from 2GB to 2GB at any time and disable automatic renewal if needed.

Minecraft server RAM recommendations

RAM figures are starting recommendations, not performance guarantees. Version, mods, view distance, world size, farms and active players affect CPU and memory needs. Each row shows the price for its smallest Vanilla/Paper configuration.

Frequently asked questions

Can phone, console and PC really play together?
Yes, that is the whole point of a Bedrock server: Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, phone and Windows all meet in the same world. Only the Java Edition cannot join a native Bedrock server directly.
How do phone and console players connect to the server?
Via the server address plus the Bedrock port, entered under "Add Server". Consoles do not always offer free entry of a third-party server directly — depending on the platform you may need an extra connection route, the right account permissions and an active online subscription.
BDS vs. PocketMine — how do they differ?
The official Mojang BDS is close to vanilla and supports approved behavior and resource packs plus add-ons — not every Marketplace item runs automatically. PocketMine brings its own plugin ecosystem instead. Paper plugins from the Java world run on neither.
We already have a Bedrock world — can we upload it?
Yes. Pack your world as a .zip with the LevelDB structure (a db folder plus level.dat) and upload it in the web interface. Restart once afterwards and you are done — no FTP, no support ticket needed.
How fast is the server ready to play?
Typical initial setup: about 3 minutes. Queues or large installations can take longer. Then set the name, game mode and whitelist in the control panel.
Is there a free option too?
Yes: the mcfreehost free tier starts at 2 GB RAM with no payment details and upgrades any time. Only free servers have a fixed sleep mode (wake-up usually under 2 minutes) — that does not apply to the paid server you are ordering here.
Do I get a subdomain for my server?
Every mcfreehost server ships with its own address such as yourserver.mc.mcfreehost.com right from the start. Rename it anytime from the dashboard — no ticket required.
What do add-ons like bots and databases cost?
Monitoring and database add-ons — Uptime Kuma, MariaDB, phpMyAdmin, Game Server Watcher — never carry a surcharge. For music and chat bots, the first slot you activate is included; every additional bot is billed on top, and the dashboard shows the exact cost before you switch it on.
How long until I can actually play?
Typical initial setup: about 3 minutes. Queues or large installations can take longer. Larger Steam installs can take a bit longer depending on the game.
Am I locked into a long-term contract?
No — you are on a subscription that renews monthly, and you can cancel it from the dashboard whenever you like; the same goes for turning off automatic renewal.
Are the servers located in Germany?
You choose the location at checkout: Germany (Falkenstein and Limburg) or France (Roubaix) — all in the EU, connected to the major European exchanges. Low pings for players across Germany, Austria and Switzerland at both locations, and solid latency for the rest of Europe.
Which provider is best for my server?
The best provider is the one that shows you what you get before you pay: RAM, slots, location, price and cancellation terms. Here the price and resources are visible in the configurator before checkout, there is no minimum term and setup is automated — feel free to compare that with other offers.
Should I host the server myself or rent one?
Self-hosting costs power, time and a machine that runs around the clock; port forwarding, updates and backups are on you. A rented server is online within minutes, keeps running when your PC is off, and updates and backups are included; the network protection that applies to your server is shown in the configurator before you order. For one or two friends on a single evening self-hosting is often fine — for a persistent world, renting pays off.
