Yes. Crossplay between Steam and Xbox Game Pass is enabled by default and needs no extra setup — you all land on the same server.

How do mods like Valheim Plus get onto the server?

Research Valheim Plus, BepInEx and others in the Thunderstore catalogue. Automatic installation is not currently enabled — before setting up manually, check that server, game and client versions match. Everyone needs the required client mods.

What happens to our world if something goes wrong?

Your worlds are backed up regularly. On top, you can create manual backups in the control panel any time and restore an older state with one click.

Is the smallest package enough for our group?

For up to 6 players, 4 GB RAM runs well — even with Valheim Plus. Heavy mod setups and large worlds are more stable on 6-8 GB.

How many can play at once?

Valheim officially supports up to 10 players. We recommend 4 GB RAM and crossplay enabled for that; with mods like Epic Loot, a bit more RAM helps.

We already have a world — can we bring it?

Yes. Upload your local world files (.db and .fwl) via the file manager and continue on the server — buildings and progress stay fully intact.
