Starting free or paying: compare the same requirements

A low-priced plan only fits if your world and required software work within its limits. A blanket market price range does not establish that: providers bundle RAM, runtime, backups and support differently. At mcfreehost you can start with 2 GB RAM without payment details.   1. List your edition, version, world size, plugins or modpack and concurrent group. Only compare offers supporting that software.

  2. Test your actual world on the appropriate free tier. Check joining, gameplay and waking; a successful short startup does not prove that a large modpack has enough RAM for sustained play.

  3. If resources are insufficient, open the configurator and compare the final price of the selected RAM tier. If only sleeping is a problem, check the runtime option terms. Extra RAM and Always Online are different options.

  4. Before a paid checkout, check the billing period, automatic renewal, included backups and cancellation terms. Compare the same features and duration at other providers, not just their advertised entry price.

More RAM or continuous runtime are reasons to consider a paid option. Check the actual selected configuration and final price in the configurator. Also compare runtime, renewal and included features; a price for a different RAM amount is not the price of your selection.
