Can Bedrock players (mobile/console) join my server?
Yes! Every Minecraft server automatically gets Geyser + Floodgate installed. Bedrock players (iOS, Android, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, Windows Store) can connect directly. No separate server needed.
How do my friends connect?
You get a custom subdomain like my-server.game-serverhosting.de. Java players simply enter the subdomain (no port needed thanks to the SRV record). Bedrock players use the same address with the Bedrock port.
How much RAM does a Minecraft server need?
For Vanilla/Paper servers: 2 GB for 1–5 players, 4 GB for 5–15 players. Add 1–2 GB extra for plugins. Modpacks like FTB or ATM need at least 6–8 GB; large modpacks 12–16 GB.
Can I switch server type later?
Yes, you can switch between Vanilla, Paper, Spigot, Forge, Fabric and other server types at any time — completely free. Your world data is preserved.
How do I enable the whitelist on my Minecraft server?
Enable the whitelist via the server console with `/whitelist on`. Add players with `/whitelist add PlayerName`. With Paper or Spigot you can also manage the whitelist in the dashboard under server settings — changes apply immediately without a restart.
How long does Minecraft server installation take?
Your Minecraft server is typically online and ready within 1–3 minutes automatically. Vanilla and Paper servers start the fastest. Forge modpacks with many mods may take 3–5 minutes as all mod files need to be downloaded first.
Do I get my own subdomain?
Yes. Every server includes a subdomain like my-server.game-serverhosting.de, and you can change it anytime in the dashboard.
What are the free extras?

How quickly is my server online?
