Frequently asked questions

Is the city world really free?

Yes. The free plan includes up to 5 GB of unpacked world data. You only pay when choosing a paid game server plan; the city world itself is not an add-on purchase.

Can I use any city?

You can search named cities, towns, districts, villages and other places in our OpenStreetMap index. Bedrock worlds and places outside the coverage area are not supported yet.

How long does creation take?

How long your world takes to build depends on the size and content of the map area, your settings and the current load. Large areas can take longer. The finished world files are imported onto your server automatically if it has enough free storage.

Will my existing world be preserved?

On a new order, the selected city world replaces the default starting world. On an existing server, you can choose whether the imported world should be activated immediately.

Which place will you build first?

Open the Minecraft Java configurator, expand “Starting world: real city” and search for your place.
